Great interview with (our!) Robin on The Asexual Agenda tumblr blog thing (I'm not good with this internetz stuff!) - Robin runs a Chinese-language asexual community in Taiwan. The interview is part of a series looking into international ace voices, how people experience asexuality around the world. Robin's interview was great - so interesting to have a different cultural perspective! Thanks Robin, you seem to be doing awesome work in Taiwan! :lots of cake:
Here's the link if you're interested in reading more, and they're still looking for people to interview, so check it out if you want to contribute:
Great work, and congrats, Robin! I'm a regular commenter on The Asexual Agenda blog posts, and I've been keeping up with their recent posts talking about the international asexual community, and how in some languages, their resources are a copy-paste translation of what's in English; that's a problem because terms and concepts that work in English don't translate well into other languages. It's encouraging to see that the community Robin is leading is adapting terms and concepts to fit their language and culture.
Ohay thanks for posting this! I really appreciate that they gave me the chance. Hopefully I really am doing the right things to help with visibility in the Chinese community. Hope that my grammar and tone doesn't sound too childish
daveb: Last I had heard was that the tech team was trying something that they thought might fix the slowdown. That was a few hours ago, before AVEN 503 erroring. Like curing a headache by chopping the head off.

Snowy McConetimes: The tech team is actively working on it, so I'm pretty sure it's maintenance related.

timewarp: I went to AVEN, saw that Cole has posted something about a server update, logged in and - got a blank page. So whatever Cole posted, I won't know for now.
